Your Florida National University Women’s Volleyball team is Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Champions.

‘Florida National University garnered three of the five postseason specialty awards, with senior Carolina Arrais Dantas selected Libero of the Year and Ariana Long as Freshman of the Year. Carlos Huaroto-Luque earned the Coach of the Year honor.

Dantas tallied 261 digs and averaged 3.58 digs per set for Florida National. She appeared in 24 matches during the team’s CAC championship season.

Long posted 246 kills and registered 274 digs to go along with 20 blocks in 26 matches this fall for the Conquistadors.

Huaroto-Luque led FNU to a 15-11 record and No. 1 CAC tournament seed through play in the regular season and tournament pool play that culminated with the 2021 conference championship. Florida National defeated Florida College 3-1 in last Saturday’s title match in Nevada, Missouri.’
