President Maria C. Regueiro, and the Board of Governors of Florida National University (FNU), are pleased to announce that the University has received a 10-year reaffirmation of institutional accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).  This achievement, the third institutional reaffirmation of FNU, represents compliance with all the standards set forth by SACSCOC. FNU has been continuously accredited through SACSCOC since 1997 and will seek its next reaffirmation in the year 2032. The institutional reaffirmation process is the culmination and validation of the institution’s strategic plan and mission to provide the highest quality of education to our students and to enrich our community through a commitment to institutional excellence. FNU submitted a self-study compliance report in September 2021, hosted an on-site accreditation team in April 2022, and was represented in Atlanta, Georgia by institutional leadership at the 2022 SACSCOC Annual Meeting, where on December 6, 2022, the institution was recognized and awarded institutional reaffirmation.
