About Tamasha Bolden

Ms. Tamasha Bolden enters her third year at Florida National University (FNU) as Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Leader, also overseeing athletic compliance. Since joining FNU, Bolden has also served as a mentor and assistant coach to the men’s basketball program during the 2023-24 season. She helped lead them to postseason advancement as members of the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) for the first time in school history.

She’s a native of South Carolina and an alumnus of Kennesaw State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Bolden was a four-year women’s basketball student-athlete (2008-2012) and a member of the All-Academic Scholar Team.

While pursuing her master’s degree, Bolden created a program with Florida National surrounding the mental health of student-athletes and helping to build awareness among coaches on the issue. Athletically, Bolden played professional women’s basketball overseas in Romania with CSM Oradea (2014). Following her stint in professional sports, Bolden returned to the states to become the director of performance and weight loss for Fit Body Boot Camp in Kennesaw, Ga. (2013-2017). Bolden also competed in fitness competitions, including the Southern Open SNBF Classic Championships in the open figure category, placing 4th overall.

Following her time at Fit Body Boot Camp, Bolden served as the assistant women’s basketball coach and strength and conditioning coach for the NAIA’s University of the Virgin Islands (2017-2018).

After UVI, Bolden worked in multiple, ascending roles, with Ivanna Eudora Kean High School in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. She served as a health education instructor, nutrition instructor and head women’s basketball coach (2018-2022).
