Florida National Men’s Basketball Head to Pennsylvania for the USCAA Basketball National Tournament
The #1 nationally ranked “Conquistadors” representing Florida National University out of Miami. FL, are on the road heading for Uniontown, Pennsylvania, home of the 2018 USCAA National Basketball Tournament this year. They come into the tournament as strong contenders after posting an overall postseason record of 24 Wins & 6 Losses. It marks the first time in school history the men’s basketball team received a number #1 seed in the national tournament. In the past tournaments, the Conquistadors haven’t made it past the first round. Their first challenge of the tournament will be nationally ranked #8 Bluefield State College, WV. Bluefield State comes into the tournament posting an overall record of 8 Wins & 13 Losses. This matchup will take place, February 28th 2:00 PM @ the Main Arena. Coach JJ Thatcher is looking to bring the first-ever Basketball National Title and bring it home to Hialeah Florida. We wish our men basketball team the best of luck in this tournament.
