In actuality, the five can be separated into two main branches:

- Biology
Some Natural Sciences programs may not offer all five branches, as it may not be relevant to the field of study academically. In this curriculum, students will study the science of accuracy, validity, as well as the social mechanism that affects quality control. They will then discuss these findings with their peers as well as study on an individual basis.

The Natural Sciences degree program at Florida National University (FNU) incorporates the course work needed for admission to most medical, pharmacy, and dental programs. While successful completion of this program doesn’t guarantee acceptance into graduate study, students pursuing this option can take advantage of all of the resources that FNU has to offer.

What FNU’s BS of Natural Sciences Offers
There are 120 credit hours to complete before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences. With FNU, you have the opportunity to complete courses in the fields of:
- Biotechnology
- Immunology
- Biology of Aging
- Ethics in Health Care
- Biological Basis of Pharmacology
- Ecology
- Legal Aspects and Legislation in Healthcare.
There are 18 credit hours for this elective.
You’ll also have the option to concentrate in the area of education. Here, you’ll be required to take at least 18 credit hours in either of these three-credit courses:
- Introduction to Education
- Teaching Diverse Population
- Classroom Management
- Technology in Education
- Introduction to Exceptional
- Foundation of Teaching ESOL in Schools
- Content Reading Instruction
- Measurement and Evaluation in Education
The core requirements include a total of 60 credit hours with 26 credits going toward lower level courses like Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Algebra, Calculus, and Physics. For upper level courses, 37 credit hours are needed. Here, you’ll be studying courses like Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Human Embryology, Physics, Genetics, and Advanced Research Writing.
