Waxahachie, TX – Another W for Men’s soccer Conquistadors. The second game of the Texas trip of our men’s soccer team. Emotions came to life after 30 minutes into the match our star; senior player Rodrigo Costa scored an unassisted goal to put the Conquistadors up on the scoreboard. Seconds later the Lions recovered the ball and tied the game with Mazvita Chidarara’s goal. FNU ’s useful attacks scored back to back goals from Sebastian Aldunate in 2 occasions to give the Conquistadors a 3-1 lead.
Right before halftime, Heriberto Diaz scored for the Lions to put an exciting 3-2 on the game, inspired Rodrigo Costa gave the Lions no chance to recover scoring 4-2 before halftime. The high paced offense from Florida National Conquistadors kept going during the second half from Pedro Veiga, Rodrigo Costa, Giorgio Perez, and Santiago Gaggero gave us the W with an outstanding and demolishing battle against SAGU Lions 8-2 to improve our excellent record.
Today the Conquistadors have another game vs. Paul Quinn College at 4 pm.
