With the regular season coming to an end, the Conquistador Men’s soccer team find themselves on the proverbial bubble for receiving a bid to the USCAA National Soccer tournament. The team has played a tough schedule, but only has four wins and 6 ties to show for it. Saturday afternoon the game was never in doubt as the Conquistadors dominated the Suns 10-0. Sophomore Renan Leite scores the first hat trick in Florida National University history scoring three goals to lead the onslaught. Daniel Villa and Joao Oliveira scored 2 goals and Leonardo Rodrigues, Marc Fernandez and Ivan Barriga scored one goal respectively. The team played stout defense lead by Carlos Quezada who recorded 5 saves. They improved their record to 4-4-6. The Conquistadors will be back in action Tuesday September 29 against Trinity Baptist in Jacksonville Florida.
