What to Expect from FNUs IT Associate’s Degree Program
We’ve streamlined our program to focus on the skills and knowledge graduates need most while eliminating extraneous coursework that doesn’t necessarily contribute to the necessary qualifications. Our Computer Information Technology program will prepare graduates for entry-level positions as application system specialists, user support specialists, or computer information managers. These are essential positions that are needed in almost every business and industry. The entire program requires a minimum of 60 credit hours. Since we’re fully accredited, your credits will transfer in the event that you want to seek a more advanced degree later.
You’ll receive core classes in college-level math and English. We also offer several introductory courses to help you become acclimated to the demands of higher education. Then, you’ll jump into the heart of your studies with courses in:
- Database management systems
- Computer repair
- IT help desk support
- Visual Basic, C++, and other programming languages
- Microsoft Office Professional (MOS), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, and Microsoft Technology Associates Certification – Developer Track certification
