Employability Workshop: Friday, June 6th

Career Education Program Certification

Attention: Prospective Students

You’ve worked hard for your degree–now what? It takes more than just a diploma to get a good job. It takes a finely honed resume and stellar interview skills. According to Careerbuilder.com, you have 30 seconds to make a lasting impression. You better learn how to use your time wisely.

On Friday, June 6th, the Job Placement Office at Florida National University will be holding an Employability Workshop. In this workshop, students learn useful information such as the basics of resume writing, job interviewing, job search strategies, saving and investing money for the future, and much more. For your convenience, the workshop will be offered during both the morning and evening class session (10a-12p and 6p-8p Room 166).

Because we care about your future, attending the Employability Workshop is mandatory prior to graduation (failure to attend will cause a delay in your expected graduation date), but that’s not the only reason you should attend. The Employability Workshop is FREE! With just a small investment of your time, you can learn how to land those higher paying jobs. Work smarter not harder.

If you have any questions, concerns or cannot attend the workshop, please contact Vanessa immediately at 305-821-3333 at ext: 1019 or 1057. (Next Employability Workshop will be held June 20th.)
