Hialeah, FL – Florida National University men and women’s basketball team are in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to play the USCAA Division 1 Basketball National Championship. The tournament starts next Thursday, March 7 and the finals will be on Saturday, March 9th.
FNU Men’s Basketball Team
FNU Men’s basketball is a No. 1 seed in USCAA’s for the Second year in a row under Coach James “JJ” Thatcher.
after securing the No. 1 overall seed, the Conquistadors will open the Division 1 USCAA Championship on Friday, March 7th against No. 8 seed Bryant & Stratton College from Albany, NY at 8:00 pm
The winner faces either No. 4 seed Oakwood University or No. 5 seed University of Maine Fort Kent, on Friday’s Final 4.
FNU Women’s Basketball Team
On the women’s side, Florida National University was seeded no. 4 and will play the first game against Bluefield State College on Thursday, March 7th at 2:00 pm.
The winner faces either No. 1 seed University of Maine Fort Kent or No. 8 seed Silver Lake College, on Friday’s Final 4.
