HIALEAH, Fla. (Sept. 20, 2023) – A statement 4-1 win over the Point University Skyhawks bumped Florida National University’s men’s soccer team to No. 16 in the NAIA’s Coaches Poll. FNU came in at seventeen in last week’s poll now held by Sun Conference standouts and former NAIA title holders Keiser University.

There is a new number-one team, as Mid-America Christian took over this coveted position with 18 first-place votes. The St. Thomas University Bobcats skyrocketed from No. 6 to the third spot thanks to six goals over their last two conference victories against Webber International University and Warner University.

The Continental Athletic Conference’s Georgia Gwinnett College continues to dance between the eleventh and twelfth slot, earning the twelfth spot from the raters for week three. Significant changes towards the bottom of the pack saw four receiving votes teams drop from the top 25.

Men’s soccer is back in action at home September 20 versus the Nighthawks from Thomas University. Kickoff will begin at 11 a.m. from Milander Park.
