Hialeah, Fla. (Dec. 30, 2017) – Florida National University men’s basketball team improves to a record (13-5) Emmanuel College falls to a record (1-9). The Conquistadors came out and dominated Emmanuel College early. Coach James Thatcher wanted his team to play aggressively from the start and Conquistadors delivered with a first-half score of 40-28. The Conquistadors finished hitting 81 percent of their total field goals and 70 percent of their attempts from the three-point line.
- Kenneth Santos shot 6-of-7 from the three-point line with a total of 22 points.
- Terence Johnson and Chris Hall both added 14 points.
