Miami Gardens, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2018) – The Bobcats scored three runs in the fourth to cruise to an 8-3 win over the Conquistadors on Tuesday night.
The Conquistadors opened the game with a 1-0 lead in the 3rd when M. Blanco reached on an error; Sergio Rivas advanced to second; Carlos Acevado Santo advanced to third, and Zackery Braafhart scored.
Bobcats scored four runs off conquistador freshman Nicholas Cruz. The Conquistadors pitchers looked tired and lacked the consistency to slow down the Bobcats.
- Obrayan Martinez got the start for the Conquistadors going for 2innings.
- Center Fielder Sergio Rivas had three at-bats one run and two hits for the night.
- Rovinel Mathilda and Zackery Braafhart both added a run.
