Florida National University to Host Ground Breaking Ceremony for Jose Regueiro Classroom BuildingOn Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Florida National University (FNU) will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the construction of the Jose Regueiro Classroom Building. This historical event will take place at FNU’s Hialeah Campus located at 4425 W. Jose Regueiro (20th) Avenue, Hialeah, FL. 33012.

The building, named after Dr. Jose Regueiro, Co-Founder of FNU, will be approximately 125,741 square feet. It will be six stories tall and hold 45 classrooms, a computer lab, nursing lab, patient simulation labs, chemistry lab and a physics/math lab. In addition, the new building will have a cafeteria/student union and an auditorium with a 274 seat seating capacity. The new building will be connected to the existing building. Completion for The Jose Regueiro Classroom Building is scheduled for summer of 2016.
