Online Distance Learning – Military Program Overview
Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership
The Navy College Program for Distance Learning (NCP) in conjunction with Florida National University (formerly Florida National College) has developed a partnership in response to the needs of the service-members/sailors to obtain a higher education degree. The program offers a rate to degree matrix that allows the sailors to combine their ratings with a degree of choice. The courses are taught fully online to benefit the sailors. The partnership includes the tuition benefits listed under the Navy Assistance Program which allows the sailors to have low out of pocket expense or no expense. Sailors taking advantage of this program will be able to choose from several degree programs such as:
Associate of Arts or Science Degree in Various Areas
- Business Administration AA
- Business Administration BS
- Criminal Justice AA
- Computer Information Technology AS
- Accounting AS
The goal of the NCP program is to support the service members itinerant life style. In conjunction, Florida National University is a long-standing member of the Service-members Opportunity College (SOC) and is a SOCNAV Network Member Institution. Florida National University is accredited by the Commissions on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees.
