Meet Shirley Quintero, a current FNU student in the Crime Scene Investigation program 🔎

My name is Shirley Quintero, I am 19 years old. I came from Cuba when I was 10 years old. Since I was little, I always wanted to study law to become a lawyer. But, when I entered high school, I started thinking about becoming a cop. It was something I really liked at that moment, and something I still like. During my junior year, I signed up for the army and got accepted but I never went. When I finished high school, I started thinking about Forensic Science and the opportunities I had within this career. Though I really wanted to become a Forensic Pathologist at that moment, I knew I was not 100% sure about it. I started watching a show called The Blacklist. It was exciting, but there was more than that, I loved every scene, I even dreamed about being one of those FBI Agents. So, one day I woke up and told my mom: You know what? I want to be an FBI Agent. After that, I started searching for schools to study, and I found FNU. Today I am glad I have the opportunity to study such a beautiful, great career at this university. I am very happy with my professor Jacqueline Exceus, she is a very professional, kind, and loving person. She is always on top of us, teaching us, whenever I need her she is there. I could not be any happier with this great experience. My career goals are: Get a Bachelor in Crime Scene Investigation, a bachelor in Forensic Psychology, and then, apply for the FBI. Now, I am sure that this is what I really want and I will work very hard for it.
