JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 17, 2020) – The Florida National volleyball team (6-6) extended its current win streak to four matches with a doubleheader sweep of Trinity Baptist (2-13) on Saturday.

The Conquistadors set the tone in the first match, winning the first set, 25-1. FNU kept the pressure on the Eagles, taking set number two, 25-17, and ultimately winning the match with a 25-16 third-set win.

FNU carried that momentum into the second half of the double dip, breezing through the first two sets, 25-12, 25-4. TBC tried to fight back in the third set but, FNU held off the Eagles for 25-23 win.

The sweep improved the Conquistadors to 4-0 over this past weekend’s road trip and moved FNU to .500 on the year.

Florida National will travel to Lakeland, Florida, on October 30, to face the Keiser Seahawks and Life Eagles. Game times are 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively.
